Envy Diamonds - Logo Design

The heart of this identity is a clever monogram that intertwines the letters 'N' and 'V.' The 'N' uses classic, strong serifs to provide a traditional, foundational look. In contrast, the 'V' is structured as a single, modern downward-pointing triangle, subtly mirroring the precise geometric cut and ultimate point of a flawless diamond. The deep navy blue color grounds the whole look, adding a layer of prestigious elegance.

The Challenge

In the jewelry market, standing out means establishing undeniable luxury. With a name as bold as 'Envy,' the logo needed to feel exclusive and desirable without tipping over into appearing greedy or aggressive. The challenge was to balance high-end traditional values with forward-thinking design.

Our Approach

I chose to integrate two very different typographic styles. The 'N' is serif, signaling quality and history. The 'V' is a sharp, geometric vector, signaling precision and a modern, high-tech cutting process. This design literally merges tradition and innovation. For the name text below, I customized the 'A' by removing its crossbar, creating a clean, upward-pointing arrow that further reinforces the idea of premium upward mobility and precise facets.

The Outcome

The final result is an architectural brand mark that sits comfortably between timeless design and modern art. It screams high-fashion. The logo works beautifully, whether etched subtly onto fine jewelry or positioned prominently on luxurious retail packaging. It tells a story of exquisite craftsmanship and a beauty that others simply must have.
